New York City Transit

Cortlandt St station remains closed
Until Further Notice

How will this affect my trip?
Trains continue to bypass the station in both directions.

Riders should continue to use the following nearby stations instead:

Rector St   R W N
City Hall    R W N
World Trade Center   E
Fulton St    J M 2 3 4 5
Broadway-Nassau St     A C

Why is the station still closed?
The Port Authority requested the delay in reopening. Due to excavation for three office towers on the WTC site, entering and exiting the Cortlandt Street station poses a safety hazard.

For up-to-date service information that may affect service to these alternate stations:
• Read service notice posters in stations

The Cortlandt Street station is part of the  new Fulton Street Transit Center, a huge transportation complex that will, when completed, facilitate access among
1 2 subway lines in Lower Manhattan. In the meantime, we apologize for the
inconvenience you experience while this work is underway.
